{"id":2356,"date":"2024-05-30T10:44:38","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T02:44:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schs.sg\/?p=2356"},"modified":"2024-06-12T16:24:16","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T08:24:16","slug":"2405-treasures-of-our-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schs.sg\/en\/2405-treasures-of-our-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Treasures of Our Schools: From Cheong Soo Pieng to Lim Tze Peng (Cultural Extravaganza 2024)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our ongoing efforts to support and promote local arts and cultural heritage, we are pleased to announce that the Singapore Chinese High School Board of Directors has loaned out 16 acclaimed paintings to the \u201cTreasures of Our Schools: From Cheong Soo Pieng to Lim Tze Peng\u201d special exhibition that will be held from 31 May to 30 June 2024 at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition showcases rare works by renowned artists, including Chen Wen Hsi, Liu Kang, Chua Ek Kay, and Ho Ho Ying, and they chronicle how art has evolved in Singapore from the 1950&#8217;s to date.
