From 20 to 25 March 2026, Principal Linda Lee, Mr. Mike Lam (Deputy Director, Admin Ops), and Ms. Zhang Yun (Head of Admissions and Student Services) travelled to Japan for engagements with various partners in Japan.
The HCIS scholarship assessment was conducted on 21 March, and the team took part in an Education Fair the following day to engage families and conduct consultations. Principal Linda was also invited to speak at a Q&A seminar, where she shared on school curriculum, activities, as well as support extended to all incoming students.
On 23 March, the team visited Saku Chosei Junior and High School, where we conducted an information session for 40 parents and students. During this session, we shared about our school as well as the scholarship opportunity for Japanese students who have completed Grade 9.

On 24 March, we held a sharing session at a local tuition academy. Feedback from this session was very positive and we are excited to see how this new market segment may grow going forward.

Even though our work in tapping the Japan market is still work in progress, this was a fruitful trip, especially in strengthening our links with existing partners in Japan.
We are confident that HCIS is gain more recognition in Japan, and we look forward to building on this momentum for furthering our overseas outreach.
