Much euphoria at Hwa Chong International School (HCIS) followed the announcement of the November 2022 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) examination results, marking yet another year of excellent academic achievements for the school.
HCIS is incredibly proud of its 2022 IB graduating class of 148 students, who persevered throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and went on to deliver quality IB results.
This year, we are extremely delighted to report an IBDP average score of 38.6 points. An impressive 63.9% of the graduating cohort scored 38 points or more, with a remarkable 49.7% of them achieving 40 points and above.
We are also very happy to announce that 15 students attained a score of 44 or 45 points, yet another commendable feat achieved by the cohort. These excellent results will see our students progressing to prestigious and top-tiered universities around the world.
