Exploring the Essence of Chinese Folk Music

Chinese folk songs are more than melodies, but also rich memories of our environment, lives, and hopes, or simply wonderful stories of people across time. From the subtle beauty of Jasmine Flower to the playful wit in Liu Sanjie’s duets, each folk tune paints a vivid portrait of regional culture and heritage.

Join us in this session of the Asian Cultural Workshop as we journey through the rich landscapes of Chinese folk music. Discover the stories behind iconic folk songs and take part in fun, interactive activities. Reminisce as you sing along with our students, and immerse yourself in the authentic charm of Chinese folk music to experience a cultural journey.
